Our mission is recycling old skis and snowboards into usable art. We specialize in Adirondack chairs, benches, tables, and racks,
but will custom build just about anything you might want made from skis or snowboards, from birdhouses to bookcases and indoor
or outdoor furniture of any kind. We started in business under the name Green Mountain Ski Chair, but as we have grown
along with our product line, we recently expanded our business name to Green Mountain Ski Furniture.
GMSF is
a small environmentally aware Vermont business born from the passion to reduce waste, while creating unique works of art that are
functional. We are also passionate about design and quality construction; continually working to invent and modify
our recycled ski creations to be the most comfortable and well-built Adirondack chairs and ski furniture you will find anywhere!

Your best friend will not be able to order the same particular configuration of colors, graphics, or makes, and we think this is a good thing. Plus....what could be more cool!!

Support a Sustainable Small Business
GMSF is serious about being green! All of our energy usage is offset by the purchase of Renewable Energy Credits
through Native Energy. 100% of our electricity is derived from renewable resources through GMP's "choose2bgreen" offset
program. We use FSC certified cedar wood when we can get it. All materials used in construction are purchased locally,
lots of shop supplies have come from reused materials, shipped items are mailed in recycled bike boxes, many bindings
are reused, and all scrap wood, paper, and steel is recycled.
We are also a small company and you will be able to
buy directly from the builder, not a retailer with added costs and less product knowledge. We will take
the time to work with you on any project no matter what size. Please support independent local craftspeople.
